The Police foi uma banda inglesa de rock, formada pelo baixista e vocalista Sting, o guitarrista Andy Summers e o baterista Stewart Copeland. A banda, que teve influências do reggae, punk e do jazz, é considerada uma das melhores bandas da década de 1980 e gravou grandes sucessos, como "Roxanne" e "Every Breath you Take" e "Message In A Bottle".
